Turnkey video
An AI director turns your idea into a finished video with script, voice-over, music and subtitles. The script costs no credits; building needs a paid plan.
Turnkey video is a Video Studio tab (/create-video/script-to-video) and an AI director for short videos. You describe the idea in your own words, it asks a couple of follow-up questions, writes a scene-by-scene script and shows an estimate. Once you confirm, it generates the scenes, adds voice-over, music and subtitles, and stitches them into a finished video. The script and the estimate cost no credits: you pay only when you click Build video.
Beta
This section is in beta. You are interacting with Clipia's AI system: the script, the scenes and the voice-over are created by artificial intelligence models.
When to use it
- You need a 15–60 second ad or promo for Reels, TikTok, Shorts, VK, YouTube, stories or a website.
- You want a story of several scenes rather than a single shot with one action.
- You need a voice-over, background music and subtitles without editing by hand.
- You have a product photo, a logo or a character that should appear in the video.
If you need a single scene or full control over each model, the Video Studio is a better fit.
How to get there
- The Turnkey video tab in the Video Studio — /create-video/script-to-video. You describe the idea there, and the studio opens the wizard.
- The direct link to the wizard — /video-agent.
- The Use in… → Add to Turnkey video button on a finished clip in the Video Studio.
- The assistant chat: it can draft a script, and you can build the video in the wizard.
You need to be signed in with a confirmed email.
How it works
The wizard takes you through five steps: Brief → Interview → Script → Build → Done.
Brief: what is the video about?
Describe the idea in your own words — 3 to 2000 characters: what the video is about, who it is for and where it will be published. Then set up:
- Your materials — up to 8 files with the roles Product, Logo, Hero or Location. Each up to 10 MB: JPG, PNG or WebP; HEIC, HEIF, AVIF, BMP and TIFF are converted to JPG automatically. GIF is not supported.
- Aspect ratio — Vertical 9:16, Horizontal 16:9 or Square 1:1.
- Length — 15, 20, 30, 45 or 60 seconds, 20 by default.
- Toggles — Voice-over, Background music and Subtitles. Subtitles are available only together with the voice-over.
Click Start — script first.
Interview: a couple of questions
The director asks questions that help it write the script. You do not have to answer all of them.
| Question | Options |
|---|---|
| Goal | Sales, Leads, Awareness, App installs, Promotion |
| Platform | Reels · TikTok · Shorts, VK · YouTube, Stories, Website · presentation |
| Call to action | Your own text, up to 120 characters |
| Tone | Premium, Friendly, Bold, Expert |
| Voice-over language | Russian or English |
| Exact narrator text | If filled in, the narrator reads it word for word |
| What music should we pick? | A description of up to 200 characters |
| Make the video without sound | No voice-over and no music |
| Quality | Standard · 1080p |
The platform sets the aspect ratio and length for you: Reels — 9:16 and 20 seconds, stories — 9:16 and 15 seconds, VK and website — 16:9 and 30 seconds. You can change them.
Click Create script.
Script: scenes and frames
The director splits the video into scenes — roughly one for every 5 seconds, from 2 to 20 scenes. Each scene has a description, a prompt for the model (in English) and a duration from 1 to 60 seconds, which you change with the − and + buttons.
Here you can:
- rewrite a scene or the voice-over text, change the music description;
- add a scene or remove one — at least two scenes must remain;
- build a storyboard: Create frames draws a picture for every scene, Regenerate frame replaces one. Frames are paid separately, the price is shown on the button, and it is not part of the video estimate.
At the bottom is the estimate: Scenes, Voice-over, Music, Assembly and the total to be charged. Editing the script charges nothing.
Build
Click Build video. Before it starts, your balance is checked against the estimate. Building usually takes 3–7 minutes and goes through these stages: Queued → Scenes ("X of Y scenes ready") → Voice-over and music → Assembly. A running build can't be stopped: the scenes are already with the model.
Models it uses
The director picks the models; you do not need to choose them.
| What it does | Model | Developer |
|---|---|---|
| Video scenes | Seedance 2.0 Fast | ByteDance |
| Storyboard frames | Nano Banana 2 | |
| Voice-over | Gemini 3.1 Flash TTS | |
| Background music | Suno | Suno |
More about the models is in Video models and How to choose a model.
Pricing
Prices
Prices on this page come from the service pricing and are refreshed together with the documentation. The exact cost is always shown on the run button before any credits are charged.
| Stage | Price |
|---|---|
| Brief, interview, script and edits | No charge |
| Scenes | At the scene model's price for their duration — the total is shown in the estimate |
| Voice-over | By the length of the narrator text — the total is shown in the estimate |
| Music | 12 credits per track |
| Assembly | Flat fee, shown in the estimate |
| Storyboard frames | Separate from the estimate, price on the Create frames button |
The total depends on the video length, the number of scenes and whether voice-over and music are on. You see the exact amount in the estimate total before building.
Finished scenes and audio tracks are paid for as they are created, even if a later stage fails. If only the assembly failed, Retry continues the build without charging again for scenes that are already done.
Access and limits
- The script and the estimate cost nothing, on any plan.
- Building the video and the storyboard are available on Basic and higher plans. Without a plan, the wizard says: "Building the video is available on Basic and higher plans. The script and edits cost nothing." Plans are described in Credits and plans.
- Without a subscription you can create up to 5 projects per day.
- There is a daily limit on builds.
Troubleshooting
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| Not enough credits for the estimate | Top up your balance or shorten the video: a shorter length, no music or no voice-over |
| Daily project limit reached | Come back tomorrow |
| Daily build limit reached | Come back tomorrow |
| The script could not be created | Rewrite the brief to be simpler and more specific |
| The idea could not be split into scenes | Describe the video more simply — in one or two sentences |
| The director is temporarily unavailable or did not respond in time | Wait a minute and try again — your brief is saved |
| The description did not pass the content check | Remove explicit scenes, violence and real celebrities from the brief — see the content rules |
| One of the video's models is temporarily unavailable | Turn off the voice-over or music, or try again later |
| Building needs at least two scenes | Add a scene to the script |
| Scenes were generated (and charged, the clips are in My works), but the assembly failed | Click Retry: the build continues without charging again for finished scenes |
| The finished video did not pass the quality check | Run the build again |
Tips
- In the brief, name the product or topic, the audience and the platform — the director will pick the tone, aspect ratio and length.
- Upload a product photo with the Product role and a logo with the Logo role so they appear on screen.
- If the narrator must say specific words, put them in Exact narrator text.
- Build a storyboard before the build: you see what each scene will look like and can fix the script before paying for video.
- Each scene, one action. If a scene is overloaded, split it in two.
