A note on the phone number. The Service operates strictly in a remote, written-only mode and interacts with users via email and Telegram. This complies with Articles 10 and 26.1 of the Russian Consumer Rights Protection Law on distance selling. Urgent billing requests are handled in real time at @clipia_support.

2. Customer registration and order flow

To place an order (subscribe or buy a one-time credit pack) the Customer must create an account at clipia.ai/signup. Registration is free of charge.

At registration the Customer provides:

  • an email address (used as login and communication channel);
  • a password (never shared with third parties, stored as a cryptographic hash);
  • a display name or nickname (optional).

Alternative sign-in methods:

  • Google account (OAuth 2.0);
  • Yandex ID (OAuth 2.0);
  • Telegram Mini App (for Russian users).

After signing up, the Customer confirms the email address by entering a 6-digit code. Email verification is required before any payment.

When subscribing or buying credits, the Customer additionally accepts the Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, and (for subscriptions) explicitly consents to recurring charges.

3. Description of services and consumer characteristics

The Service provides access to software that generates digital content with AI models. The service is rendered the moment credits are consumed from the Customer's balance and the result is delivered to the personal cabinet.

3.1 Types of services

  • Image generation from text or reference images (JPG, PNG, WebP; 1–2 MP);
  • Video generation from text, image or combinations (MP4, 5–10 s, 480p/720p/1080p);
  • Image and video editing with neural editing models;
  • AI assistant — a chat model for prompt and idea help;
  • other features described at AI model catalog.

3.2 Plans and pricing

Four subscription tiers are available (monthly, or annual with a 10 % discount). Prices are quoted in RUB, USD and EUR. The live pricelist is published at /tariffs.

Subscription plans of Clipia.ai
PlanUSD/moEUR/moRUB/moCredits/mo
Basic$15€14799 ₽240
Standard$29€261,499 ₽480
Pro$49€452,990 ₽960
Ultima$149€1398,990 ₽2,900

In addition, a 7-day trial for 199 ₽ and one-time credit packs are available. See /tokens.

3.3 What is a "credit"

A credit is an internal accounting unit that measures the amount of compute consumed. Each generation has a fixed credit price that is shown before the Customer presses "Generate". Credits are not electronic money and cannot be exchanged for cash; the monetary valuation of credits for the purposes of refunds is governed by section 7 below.

4. Payment methods

Payments are processed cashlessly through bank payment gateways. Card details are never transmitted to or stored on the Service's servers (see section 6).

4.1 Accepted means of payment

  • international payment cards Visa, Mastercard, JCB, UnionPay, American Express;
  • cards of the Russian payment system Mir;
  • Russian Faster Payments System (SBP) — for RUB payments from Russian bank accounts;
  • recurring charges to a tokenized card — for subscription auto-renewal.

4.2 Settlement currencies

The settlement currency (RUB, USD or EUR) is selected automatically based on the issuing country of the card or the Customer's choice in the cabinet. The conversion rate is applied by the issuing bank at the moment of authorization.

5. Card payment flow

  1. Service selection. The Customer picks a plan at /tariffs or a credit pack at /tokens and clicks "Pay".
  2. Order summary. The Customer sees the service name, price in the chosen currency, next billing date (for subscriptions), and links to the Terms and Privacy Policy. For subscriptions, the Customer explicitly opts in to recurring charges via a dedicated checkbox.
  3. Redirect to the payment form. A secure window from a certified payment processor opens. All card fields are hosted by the processor; Clipia.ai never sees the card number, CVV/CVC, expiration date or other sensitive details.
  4. Card details entry. The Customer enters the card number, expiration date, cardholder name, CVV/CVC, and, if requested, the billing address.
  5. Cardholder authentication. The payment is authenticated via 3-D Secure 2.0 (Verified by Visa, Mastercard Identity Check, J/Secure, ProtectBuy). The Customer confirms the transaction with a one-time SMS/push code from the issuing bank, or with biometrics in the bank app.
  6. Authorization and confirmation. On approval, funds are charged, the processor redirects the Customer back to Clipia.ai with a confirmation, and credits land on the balance within seconds. An electronic receipt (per Russian Federal Law 54-FZ) is emailed to the Customer.
  7. Possible outcomes.
    • Success — credits granted, receipt sent.
    • Declined by the issuer — the decline reason is shown (insufficient funds, limit, risk check). The Customer may retry or choose a different method.
    • Aborted by the user — nothing is charged.
  8. Recurring charges (subscriptions). On the next billing date the processor automatically charges the tokenized card. A reminder is emailed 3 days in advance. The Customer can cancel auto-renewal anytime in the "Payments & subscriptions" section of the cabinet — access stays active until the end of the paid period.

5.1 Payment processors

Card payments are processed by certified, contracted payment processors. The specific processor is shown in the payment form at step 3 above. They include:

  • CloudPayments — Visa, Mastercard, Mir under Russian acquiring;
  • Robokassa — backup channel for Russian cards;
  • international card processors for non-Russian payments (disclosed in the payment form before the Customer enters any card details).

6. Card payment security measures

6.1 Card data protection

  • The Service does not store or process card details. Card number, expiration date, CVV/CVC and cardholder name are entered only into the certified processor's form and are never transmitted to Clipia.ai. Only an anonymous token is stored on our side, which is enough for recurring charges but cannot be reversed back to a real card number.
  • PCI DSS compliance. All payment processors used by the Service are certified at PCI DSS Level 1, the highest tier of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard.

6.2 Channel protection

  • All traffic between the Customer's browser, Clipia.ai and the payment processor runs over HTTPS with TLS 1.2/1.3 encryption;
  • SSL certificate issued by a public certificate authority and validated by the browser before any data is sent;
  • HSTS (HTTP Strict Transport Security) is enforced — the browser always uses HTTPS for the domain.

6.3 Cardholder authentication

  • mandatory 3-D Secure 2.0 check on every card-data operation (first payment and card-on-file binding);
  • recurring charges run without re-entering card details but are protected by tokenization and processor-side fraud checks.

6.4 Account protection

  • passwords are stored as cryptographic hashes (bcrypt with unique salt);
  • billing operations require an authenticated session (httpOnly cookies + CSRF protection);
  • optional two-factor authentication (2FA);
  • every transaction is emailed to the Customer and recorded in the "Payments & subscriptions" log of the cabinet.

6.5 Customer guidance

  • never share your account password, card CVV/CVC or SMS confirmation codes;
  • if you suspect card compromise — contact your issuing bank immediately and email security@clipia.ai;
  • review active sessions in your cabinet periodically.

7. Refund procedure

The full refund procedure is set in sections 3.5, 7.3 and 7.8.5 of the Terms of Service. Highlights below.

7.1 Grounds for refund

  • the result was not delivered due to a technical failure on the Service side (e.g., processing error, model unavailability) — credits are auto-restored or money is refunded to the card on request;
  • within 3 days of the 199 ₽ Trial payment, provided the Customer has not consumed any expiring credits granted for the Trial period — full refund of 199 ₽ on request;
  • within 3 days of a regular subscription charge, provided the Customer has not consumed any expiring credits of the new period — full refund of the charged amount on request;
  • other cases required by applicable law, including Articles 32 and 26.1 of the Russian Consumer Rights Protection Law. In those cases the refund equals the charged amount minus the Service's actually incurred costs: provider compute cost for credits already consumed and the non-refundable acquirer (payment processor) fee.

Note. "Expiring credits" are credits granted as part of a subscription or Trial period — they reset at the end of each billing period and are replaced by the next allocation. Credits bought as a one-time top-up pack do not expire and are non-refundable. A credit is considered consumed only after a successful generation: an aborted or failed generation does not deduct a credit.

7.2 What is not a ground for refund

Given the probabilistic nature of AI models (section 3.4 of the Terms), subjective dissatisfaction with the result ("wrong style", "wrong angle", "didn't like it") is not a ground for refund. In such cases the Service may, at its discretion, offer goodwill compensation in additional credits.

7.3 How to request a refund

  1. send a written request to billing@clipia.ai with the account email, payment date and amount, and refund reason;
  2. attach supporting documents if available (receipt, error screenshot, support correspondence);
  3. the Service responds in writing within up to 10 business days.

7.4 Method and timeline

  • Refunds are issued back to the original payment card, as required by payment system rules. Refunds to a different card or another method are not allowed.
  • The Service initiates the refund within up to 10 business days. Actual posting time depends on the issuing bank (usually 1–5 business days).
  • If the original card is no longer available (e.g., closed), the Customer must notify the Service and provide alternative bank account details under the same legal name.

7.5 Refunds for unauthorized charges

If the Customer notices a charge they did not make or authorize, they must email billing@clipia.aiwithin 120 days and contact their issuing bank to file a chargeback. The Service cooperates with chargeback investigations.

8. "Delivery" terms

The Service does not involve physical delivery. The generation output (image, video, text) is a digital file that becomes available in the Customer's cabinet on the "My works" page (/my-works) the moment processing finishes and can be downloaded to any device.

  • Delivery time: from a few seconds to 30 minutes depending on model, load and parameters.
  • Delivery method: the result appears in the cabinet; optionally a notification is sent by email or Telegram.
  • Retention: files are stored in the cabinet under the plan's terms, but no less than 30 days from generation.
  • Download: the result is downloaded in the original format (JPG / PNG / MP4) via the "Download" button on the work card.

A "shipping" section in the traditional e-commerce sense does not apply because the subject of the sale is intangible. This section describes the way the service result is delivered as required by Article 26.1 §2 of the Russian Consumer Rights Protection Law.

9. Warranties

9.1 What the Service warrants

  • Service availability on a best-effort basis with a target of at least 99 % per calendar month, excluding scheduled maintenance and force majeure;
  • Integrity of the credit balance and transaction history — stored in protected databases with regular backups;
  • Privacy as set in the Privacy Policy and Russian Federal Law 152-FZ;
  • Price transparency: the credit price is shown before each generation; the monetary price is shown before each payment;
  • Refunds in the cases listed in section 7 above and in the Terms of Service;
  • Payment gateway resilience — automatic failover to a backup channel if one of the payment processors is unavailable.

9.2 What the Service does not warrant

Due to the probabilistic nature of AI models, the Service does not warrant:

  • that any specific generation will match the Customer's subjective expectations;
  • exact reproduction of real people, recognizable brands or other objects protected by third-party rights;
  • fitness of the result for any particular commercial purpose — that decision rests with the Customer, subject to the Content License.

9.3 Liability of the Service

The parties bear liability under this document and the Terms of Service in accordance with the applicable law of the Russian Federation. Mandatory consumer rights granted by the Russian Consumer Rights Protection Law — including the right to a refund for a service that was not rendered or was rendered improperly — cannot be limited by this document.

The detailed allocation of liability (exclusions for lost profits, third-party acts, the probabilistic nature of AI models, etc.) is set out in section 10 of the Terms of Service.

10. Related documents

  • Terms of Service — the master agreement;
  • Privacy Policy — personal data processing;
  • Cross-Border Data Transfer Policy — for users from Russia;
  • Acceptable Use Policy;
  • Content License;
  • Contact — all channels.

11. Effective version and amendments

The current version of this document is published at clipia.ai/ru/payment-info(Russian) and clipia.ai/en/payment-info(English). The effective date of the current version is shown in the document header.

A new version takes effect on the date of its publication on the pages above. Where the changes to the card payment flow, security measures or refund procedure are material, the Service notifies active subscribers by email at least 30 calendar days before the changes take effect, in line with section 7.8.6 of the Terms of Service.

A previous version (with the requested effective date) is available on request at legal@clipia.ai; the response is sent within 5 business days.
