Voice cloning in Clipia.ai is an audio studio tool that creates a private voice from a sample of your speech. It runs on ElevenLabs Instant Voice Cloning. The finished voice appears in the Voiceover and Long-form tabs and is available only to you.
How to record a good voice sample
Read in the manner you need
The voice picks up the delivery of the sample. For a calm narrator tone, read calmly; for an energetic one, read the way you talk in your own clips.
The room matters more than the mic
A bare room with a ringing echo ruins a sample more than a simple microphone does. Record in a small furnished room with curtains, keep the mic at the same distance and stay still while reading.
No processing or effects
Do not add music, reverb or heavy compression to the sample: the model will treat them as part of the voice. Upload the recording as it is, at an even volume.
Where your own voice helps
Voiceovers without recording
A creator writes a script and gets a track in their own voice even when recording is impossible: on the road, with a cold or in a noisy place.
An audiobook or course in your voice
Your voice is available in the Long-form tab, so a book or course can be narrated in your own timbre without reading aloud for hours.
Spot fixes
When one line in a finished clip needs changing, the new line can be voiced in your own voice without re-recording the whole segment.

Sample from 30 seconds to 5 min and up to 10 MB, up to 3 min from the microphone; ideally 1–2 minutes. You can clone only your own voice and must confirm three consents first. A voice that needs owner verification cannot be used yet.
