Split the text by meaning
A chapter in the studio does not have to be a book chapter. Splitting the text by scenes or topics is handier: a short part is easier to re-listen to and redo without touching the rest.
Remove page furniture
Text copied from a PDF or e-book brings page numbers, running headers and footnotes along. The model will read them aloud, so delete everything that should not be heard in the recording.
Choose the voice on a test chapter
One voice carries the whole book, so narrate a short chapter first and listen to it in full. To have the book read in your own voice, create it in the Voices tab first.

Limits
Up to 20 chapters, at most 10,000 characters each and 50,000 in total. If one chapter fails, finished chapters are kept and the failed one can be retried separately.
