1. Overview
This Refund & Cancellation Policy (the “Policy”) describes how you can cancel your subscription and request a refund for Clipia.ai — a platform for creating AI-generated images and videos. This Policy forms an integral part of our Terms of Service and applies together with them.
The full payment terms, merchant details and detailed refund grounds are set out on our Payment Information page (“Refund procedure” section). Where a summary here differs from the full text on those pages, the full documents prevail.
2. Who the seller is
Depending on your payment method, the seller and recipient of the payment is one of the following:
- For customers in Russia and the CIS (payment in Russian rubles by card or SBP, acquiring by CloudPayments / Robokassa) — Sole Proprietor Maksim Zakharov (OGRNIP 324366800070377, INN 361608356714).
- For international customers (payment in USD / EUR) — Clipia LLC (State of Wyoming, USA) through a reseller acting as Merchant of Record. The reseller processes the payment, issues the invoice and handles refund requests on the seller’s behalf.
3. How it works: subscription and credits
Paying for a plan tops up your account balance with credits, which are spent on image and video generations. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Credits included in a plan are expiring and reset at the end of the paid period; credits purchased as a separate one-time pack (top-up) do not expire.
4. Cancelling your subscription
- You may cancel auto-renewal at any time in the Balance & Subscription section of your account, or by contacting support.
- After cancellation, access to paid features and your remaining expiring credits stay available until the end of the current paid period; no further charge is made.
- Cancelling a subscription is not, by itself, a request to refund amounts already charged.
5. Grounds for a refund
Refunds are issued on request in the following cases:
- within 3 days of a Trial payment, provided you have not consumed any expiring credits granted for the Trial period — full refund;
- within 3 days of a recurring subscription charge, provided you have not consumed any expiring credits of the new period — full refund of the charged amount;
- an erroneous or unauthorised charge — full refund after verification;
- other cases required by applicable law. In such cases the refund may be reduced by costs actually incurred by the Service (the cost of consumed credits and the non-refundable acquiring fee).
6. What is not eligible for a refund
- credits that have been consumed (in whole or in part) and generations already produced — the service is deemed rendered upon the first successful generation;
- subjective dissatisfaction with the artistic result of an AI model that operated correctly;
- unused credits purchased as a separate one-time pack (top-up) — they do not expire, but are also non-refundable;
- account suspension caused by your breach of the Acceptable Use Policy.
7. How to request a refund
- Email billing@clipia.ai with your account email, the payment date and amount, and the reason for the refund. International customers may also use the reseller’s contact details shown on the payment receipt.
- We review the request and notify you of the decision within 3 business days.
8. Refund method and timeframe
- Refunds are issued using the same method and back to the same card/account used for payment, as required by payment system rules. Refunds to a different card are not permitted.
- Refunds are processed within 10 banking days of confirmation. The actual crediting time depends on your issuing bank (typically 1–5 business days).
