Templates
Finding a ready-made template on the Clipia Trends page — picks from X and all templates, search, categories and filters, sending a template to a studio with the Use button, and your own works as templates.
A template is a ready-made idea: a sample result, the prompt and the model it was made with. Templates live on the Trends page, on the tab of the same name. Pick one, send it to a studio, swap in your own subject or text and run it — no need to write a prompt from scratch.
When to use them
- You need an idea or a style, and writing a prompt would take too long.
- You want to see what a model can do through real examples.
- You need a common type of content fast: a product on a background, a timelapse, a cartoon character.
Finding a template
Open the Trends tab
On the Trends page it opens by default. The old /templates and /studio addresses lead there too.
Choose a selection
First you see Trends from X — fresh works by creators on X with their prompt and model. Click the Trends from X chip to switch to all Clipia templates, and click it again to go back.
Describe what you are looking for
In the "Describe the vibe" box, type a mood or a topic: "autumn", "red", "minimalism", "coffee on a table". Search starts from two characters. Across all templates it takes the meaning of your query into account, not just exact words.
Narrow it down with filters
Choose a category, result type and model, and switch the sort order.
Open a template
Videos on the wall play on their own when a card is on screen. Click a card to open the viewer with the prompt and model.
Filters and sorting
| Filter | Options |
|---|---|
| Selection | Trends from X chip on — works by creators on X, off — all Clipia templates |
| Category | All, Product, People, Animals, Timelapse, Cartoon, Other |
| Type | Images or Video. If neither is selected, everything is shown |
| Model | Any model, or a specific one. The list appears when the results include more than one model |
| Sort | Newest or Popular. The X picks default to Newest, all templates default to Popular |
When you switch the selection, the sort returns to its default and the model filter is cleared. Reset filters brings back the X picks and Newest, and clears the type, model and category.
Using a template
In the template viewer:
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Use | Opens a menu of studios. Reuse the prompt opens the Text to image or Text to video tab with the template's prompt. Other items send the image or clip itself, for example to Edit photo or Image to video |
| Copy prompt | In the More actions menu. Copies the prompt text so you can use it with another model or in a chat with the agent |
The template's model is selected only if the studio tab has it; otherwise only the prompt is sent. Nothing runs automatically: in the studio, adjust the prompt, change the subject, colors, duration or model, then press the run button. The price is shown on it and depends on what you choose. More on sending in Trends and studios.
If the creator hid the prompt, you will see "Prompt hidden by author" instead: there is nothing to copy, and the menu has no Reuse the prompt item.
Your own works as templates
You can build on your own works the same way as on anyone else's:
- in My works, Use as template opens an image in Image Studio and a clip in Video Studio. If the work was made from a source photo, that photo lands in the Edit photo or Image to video tab; otherwise text-to-image or text-to-video opens with the work's prompt;
- on the My works tab of the Trends page, open a work and click Use.
Troubleshooting
| Situation | What to do |
|---|---|
| "No templates here yet" or "Nothing found" | Reset the filters or describe the topic in other words |
| "Failed to load templates" | Reload the page |
| The result does not look like the preview | Every generation is unique. Make sure the same model is selected and run it again |
Tips
- Search by mood and color, not just by object: "warm evening", "neon", "pastel".
- Keep the structure of the template's prompt and change only the subject — that preserves the style.
- If a template uses a premium model, try the same prompt on a cheaper model for a draft.
