Payments and subscription
How to pay for a subscription or a credit pack by card, which currency you are charged in, and how auto-renewal, cancellation and refunds work.
A Clipia subscription is paid by card and renews automatically until you cancel it. The payment method depends on the country of the bank that issued your card, and the total is shown before you confirm the payment.
Prices
Prices are current as of October 2026. The exact cost is always shown on the launch button before you are charged.
What you can pay for
- A subscription — Basic, Standard, Pro or Ultima, billed monthly or annually. Annual billing is 20% cheaper; see the pricing page for full terms.
- A credit pack — subscribers only. Pack prices are listed in Credits and plans.
Payment methods
For international Visa, Mastercard and UnionPay cards. Checkout is handled by Stripe, which acts as the seller in your country. You are charged in US dollars; your country's tax (such as VAT) is added to the price, and you see the total before paying.
For cards issued by Russian banks — MIR, Visa, Mastercard — and for payment via SBP (Faster Payments). Payment goes through the Russian checkout, which shows the total before you confirm.
Choose the method by the country where your card was issued, not where you are located. If a payment fails, the app offers the other method.
Currency
- On the English version of the site, visitors from outside Russia see prices in US dollars.
- Visitors from Russia go straight to the Russian checkout, which shows prices in local currency.
Your bank sets the exchange rate and the final amount in your card's currency.
How to pay
Pick a plan or a pack
Open the pricing page and choose a plan and billing period, or a credit pack.
Pick a payment method
Select the option that matches the country of your card's bank.
Confirm the payment
Enter your card details on the payment provider's secure page and confirm in your banking app if asked. Clipia does not store your card details.
Get your credits and receipt
Credits arrive within a few minutes, and the receipt is emailed to your account address.
Auto-renewal
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Each renewal adds a fresh allowance of subscription credits; the previous period's balance doesn't roll over.
If a renewal charge fails — for example, because of insufficient funds — the service retries several times over the following week. If every retry fails, the subscription is marked as past due. Check your card and pay again on the pricing page.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time:
- on the pricing page — the "Cancel subscription" button on your current plan's card;
- on the Balance and subscription page;
- through support at support@clipia.ai.
After you cancel:
- the subscription stays active until the end of the paid period, and all your credits remain available until then;
- auto-renewal is turned off and you won't be charged again;
- you can resume the subscription before the period ends;
- your works stay in your account.
When the period ends, subscription credits are reset to zero. Purchased credits are kept, but you can only use them again once you resubscribe.
Cancelling is not a refund request
Cancelling only stops future charges. To get money back for a period you've already paid for, submit a separate request — see below.
Refunds
The full terms are in the refund policy. In short:
- Refundable: a renewal charge within 3 days of the charge, provided you haven't spent a single credit from the new period. Erroneous and unauthorized charges, and cases required by law, are also refunded.
- Not refundable: credits already spent, purchased credit packs, payments on accounts blocked for breaking the rules, and payments where the service worked correctly but you didn't like the result.
How to request a refund:
Email billing@clipia.ai
Include your account email, the payment date and amount, and the reason.
Wait for a decision
Requests are reviewed within 3 business days.
Receive the money
The refund goes back to the card you paid with, within up to 10 banking days.
If you paid with a card from a bank outside Russia, you can also use the contact details on your Stripe receipt.
Failed generations are a separate case: credits for them return to your balance automatically, no request needed. See Credits and plans.
Troubleshooting
Tips
- If you don't plan to renew, cancel ahead of time: you keep access until the end of the period and won't be charged again.
- Before buying a pack, check that your subscription is active — purchased credits can't be used without one.
